Projects and Funded Research
The Motor Vehicle Fire Research Institute is currently funding several
projects in fire safety or fire related research. These projects
include activities in real-world data analysis of impact induced fires and
fuel-leakage, experimental testing of fuel systems, evaluation of
state-of-the-art technologies for preventing and/or mitigating impact
fires, and more. The following are summaries of contracts that have
been awarded to perform this research. Check back periodically for
progress reports and updates on each project. If you have additional
questions or wish to submit project proposals for consideration, please
send an e-mail correspondence to info@mvfri.org.
