A searchable transportation Fire Safety Bibliography was created as a stand-alone, PC-based software package that contains information regarding more than 1000 scientific and technical articles relating to different aspects of transportation fires (e.g., the causes, propagation, severity, and extinguishment of fires in passenger carriers, flammability properties of interior and exterior materials used in motor vehicles and other modes of transportation, chemistry of flame retardants and their combustion products, and toxic effects of combustion gases). A compressed (zipped) folder of this stand-alone software package is provided here for download. |
