Summaries of Research Results

The Motor Vehicle Fire Research Institute has completed a number of research projects in fire safety or fire related research.  These projects include activities in real-world data analysis of impact induced fires and fuel-leakage, experimental testing of fuel systems, evaluation of state-of-the-art technologies for preventing and/or mitigating impact fires, and more.  The following are summaries are of research results to date.

Follow this link to MVFRI Publications for a description of the research projects  and the complete final reports on the projects.
